Deposit and Travel

 

All Wedding day services require a signed contract and 25% of your quote to reserve your date on our calendar. The travel fee for any weddings inside Chittenden County is $75. Any weddings outside of Chittenden County have a base travel fee of $150 for up to 6 hours of travel, each additional hour is $20. 

 

Payment

 

Payment is broken up into 3 seperate payments. 25 % is due at contract signing, 25% is due on your trial date, and the final 50% is due 7 days prior to your wedding.   We accept credit cards, digital or personal checks and cash. A credit card is needed to sign the contract, but will not be used for service payments.

Cancellation

 

Cancellations must be made 120 days prior to your reserved date. If services are cancelled less than 120 days prior of reserved date a fee of 75% of your final estimate will be charged to credit card provided. Any payments received prior to cancellation are non-refundable.

Members of the wedding party who miss or forgo their services the day of will still be charged in full.

 

 

Miscellaneous

Finishing Touch reserves the right not to apply makeup on any open sores, broken skin, or clients with conjunctivitis (pink eye). Skin issues must be disclosed to Finishing Touch prior to application. Finishing Touch also reserves the right not to perform services on clients who potentially have any communicable diseases such as lice. Finishing Touch provides dry styling only for hair services. Any wedding party member who shows up to their appointment with wet or damp hair will be asked to dry hair prior to receiving styling services, or will incur an additional fee of $30 for stylist to dry hair in prep of dry styling. 

 

Disclosure and Liability

Finishing Touch will disclose and/or provide information on any known ingredients in products upon request. Clients are to disclose any skin conditions, allergies or sensitivities prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the Finishing Touch from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

 

Hints to Make Your Day Unforgettable

 

Please don't wash your hair the day of your wedding! This ensures that your 'do will stay through the whole night! Please wear a button down shirt.

Bridesmaids that have pictures of what they want make the day go smoother.

On the day of your run through make sure you bring any headpieces.

Remember to breathe! It's your day!
